Michael Winslet graduated from the University of Memphis, where he studied TV and film production and photography. In his photography career, Michael photographed various national and world leaders, including President Bill Clinton, First Ladies Rosalynn Carter and Barbara Bush, Barbara Jordan, and Desmond Tutu, as well as notable performing artists such as Kathy Bates, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, B.B. King, Rufus Thomas, and John “Memphis Slim” Chatman.
Currently, Michael works as a freelance writer and lives in Colombia’s coffee region. When not working on his next novel, he enjoys photography, reading, traveling, and doting on his cat.
